Changing the bolt end effector on the Zephyr
This video will walk you through the steps needed to change the END EFFECTOR on the Zephyr captive bolt tool.
The END EFFECTOR is the animal contacting part of the bolt. It is made of black Delrin plastic. Delrin is a very strong engineering plastic.
If the Zephyr is operated below 40 degees F, the Delrin END EFFECTOR becomes less flexible and may break during use. An example of this scenero would be... storing the Zephyr in a very cold vehicle overnight and then attempting use the Zephyr without allowing it to reach room temperature.
Remember before attempting to replace the END EFFECTOR:
1) Wear safety glasses
2) Disconnect the Zephyr from the air compressor
3) View and understand the video below.
3) Call Bock Industries if you have any questions.
